DC the Don – “My Own Worst Enemy”

“The two sides of DONNY are bold,” says Daij, the artist behind DC the Don. “The red side is like my artistic side, while the black side is like the hard edge that I have.”

All of this was evident in his debut album, “Come As You Are.” In the sequel to that album, “My Own Worst Enemy,” DC further evolves his dynamic between Rag3Kidd and DONNY: “This time, because we’re diving deeper into each character, it will be easier to see the light and dark side of each other,” he says.

Daij says he strives to make his music relatable to people who are going through similar issues so they can relate to him.

He also said, “I don’t feel like I need anybody else on my song to make it good.”
